Abstract: PROGRAM STUDY OF MIDWIFERY BACHELOR PROGRAM OF FACULTY OF HEALTH, AUFA ROYHAN UNIVERSITY IN PADANGSIDIMPUAN CITY Research Report, August 2020 Nismarito The Effect of Giving Peanut Juice on the Increase of Breast Milk Production in Breastfeeding Mothers in Padang Baruas Village, North Padang Lawas Regency in 2020 Breastfeeding in postpartum mothers often encountered obstacles due to late release of breast milk or insufficient milk production. Efforts to improve nutrition for nursing mothers by providing nutrient-rich foods that can stimulate breast milk production, namely peanuts. The research objective was to determine the effect of peanut juice on lactation in breastfeeding mothers in Padang Baruas Village, Padang Lawas Utara Regency in 2020. The one group pretest-posttest desaign research method, the test used in this study was the Wilcoxon test. The population of all breastfeeding mothers in Padang Baruas Village, Padang Lawas Utara Regency in 2020 is 15 people. The results showed that the p-value = 0.001. The conclusion of Ha is accepted so that there is an effect of peanut juice on increasing milk production in breastfeeding mothers in Padang Baruas Village, Padang Lawas Utara Regency in 2020. It is recommended for breastfeeding mothers to consume peanut juice regularly so that their milk production increases so that the mother can exclusively breastfeed. .
