Therefore, many young mothers-to-be face the birth of their children with fear and anxiety. Several studies have shown that women who experience anxiety during pregnancy are more likely to experience abnormal labor. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between pre-operative anxiety level and pain degree in post-sectio caesarea patients at the Padangsidimpuan Army Hospital. This type of research is quantitative and descriptive correlation research design. This research will be conducted at the TNI-AD Hospital of Padangsidimpuan City. The time of the research was carried out from January 2020 to September 2020. The population in this study was 40 people. By using sampling purposive sampling technique. With a sample of 29 people. After using the Chi Square test, the p value = 0.024 (<0.05) is obtained, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a relationship between the level of pre-operative anxiety and the degree of pain in Post Sectio Caesarea patients at the TNI AD Padangsidimpuan Hospital. It is recommended that the research be applied in real activities in the field, especially in relation to the level of pre-operative anxiety and the degree of pain in post-caesarean patients.
