In the world, the incidence of dysmenorrhea is very large, 50% more than the average for women in every country. According to the World Health Organization. the incidence of dysmenorrhoea is quite high. The average incidence in young women is between 16.8 and 81%. Dysmenorrhoea is the most common gynecological complaint and is experienced by women. Symptoms commonly experienced during dysmenorrhea include sweating, headaches, nausea and vomiting, diarrhea and tremors. One of the handling of dysmenorrhea is dysmenorrhoea exercise. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of dysmenorrhoea exercise on the intensity of primary menstrual pain in adolescents in SMA N 1, Batangtoru District in 2020. This research is quantitative, the research method is Quasi Experiment with One group pre study design. test post test design. Samples were taken using purposive sampling. The number of samples was 40 respondents. Data analysis using Paired T Test. The results showed that the P-Value was 0.000 <0.05. The conclusion is the effect of dysmenorrhoea exercise on the intensity of primary menstrual pain in adolescents at SMU N 1 Batangtoru District. Suggestions for students who experience dysmenorrhoea do exercise regularly and regularly and do exercise properly and correctly in the hope that the dysmenorrhoea pain experienced can bereducedeverymonth.
