dc.description.abstractABSTRACT The pregnancy and the labor, both of them are phenomena and important experience for the female-live. The other transition of pregnancy and labor phases can increase anxiety until in the stress position. This research aims to analyze the correlation of coping strategy with mother’s pregnant anxiety hypermia gravidarum in Local Government Clinic of PadangmatinggiPadangsidimpuan city. Type of this research is survey-quantitative research with cross sectional study approach. The research location was conducted at the Padangmatinggi Health Center, Padangsidimpuan City, when the study was conducted from November 2020 to August 2021, the population in this study were pregnant women who experienced hyperemesis gravidarum in the first trimester with a sample of 30 respondents.The result of fisher-test shows the correlation of coping strategy with mothers’ pregnant anxiety hypermia gravidarum with P-value = 0.00 (<0.05). By having this, it is expected to reduce the anxiety with an adaptive coping strategy and add experiences as well as knowledge of the respondents until they are able to apply them in the society.
