One of the efforts made by the government in reducing the infant mortality rate is the neonatal health care programs such as neonatal visit. Neonatal visit both national and provincial still dominated by neonatal health services in the home. This study aims to determine the peer effect in a class of pregnant women against neonatal visits to health care facilities. This study uses a pre-experimental research design with the design of Intact-GroupComparison.This study will involve 40 pregnant women who will be divided into two groups with the peer and family advocacy group without each numbered 20 pregnant women. Then processed and analyzed with the statistical Mann Whitney test. The results showed highest percentages were in the age group 20-35 years at about 90%, in the house wife work group that is 92.5% and reviewed multigravida parity group that is equal to 67.5%. The average number of visits of neonates in the intervention group was 1.8, the average number of visits of neonates in the control group was 0.6 and there is the influence peer in a class of pregnant women against neonatal visits to health care facilities significant with p value 0.000. It was concluded that the results of this study are the peer effect in a class of pregnant women against neonatal visits to health care facilities significant with p value 0.000.
