Breast milk given by mothers can support growth, health and survival of babies because breast milk is rich in nutrients and antibodies.This study aims to determine the relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and the nutritional status of infants aged 6-12 months in Kalaena Village, East Luwu Regency in 2018. Methode Research used was case control with a sample of 58 baby. The sampling technique is totaling sampling. The technique of collecting data uses primary and secondary data. The data analysis method used is univariate and bivariate analysis. Bivariate analysis to determine the relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and the nutritional status of infants aged 6-12 months using chi square test. Results showed that exclusive breastfeeding had a significant relationship to infant nutritional status with a value of p = 0.023 <0.05 Conclusions from the results of data analysis indicate that exclusive breastfeeding has a significant relationship to the nutritional status of infants aged 6-12 months.
