ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN PADA SISTEM KARDIOVASKULER: REUMATOID ARTRITIS DENGAN PEMBERIAN KOMPRES JAHE MERAH HANGAT TERHADAP PENURUNAN SKALA NYERI

Abstract

Rheumatoid arthritis is a disease thatattacks the limbs namely joints, muscles, bones and tissues around the joints causing pain, swelling in the joints. This pain management is done byusing red ginge rcompress therapy which aims to reduce pain in the joints .The aim is to analyze the results of the implementation of nursing care with the intervention of giving red ginger compresses to the elderly to meet pain needs. The method in writing the Final Scientific paper is in the form of a case study by providing nursing care 3 times a week. The results obtained after the intervention were a reduction in pain during the administretion of warm red ginger compresses in the elderly with rheumatoid arthritis. There was a decrease in the pain scale was 4 after the warm red ginger compress patiens with the intervention of giving warm red ginger had an effect on reducing nursing problems pain acute,namely a decrease in the scale of pain.
