The purpose of this reseach is to find out the description of the management of type 2 diabetes melitus medication in Padangsidimpuan city. The type of reseach conducted is quantitative reseach. The design used was descriptive with the number of respondents as many as 80 respondents. This Reseach In The of Padangsidimpua City. From the result of the frequency distribution of this study showed that from 80 respondents the majority of respondents were pharmacological therapy using oral as many as 64 respondents (80,0%), the majority of respondents used pharmacological therapy patterns with physician control as many as 55 respondents (68,8%), and the majority of respondents when using therapy pharmacological rouines of 58 respondents (72,5%). Advice from this study is expented that nurses can provide input for respondents to diabtes mellitus to improve knowledge of the behavior of the management of phamacological therapy for people with diabetes mellitus.
