The purpose of this research is to find out the effect of giving water juice to reduce blood pressure in patients with hypertension. The type of research used is quantitative research. This research design uses a special experiment method. The research design used is the one group pretest-posttest design. This research uses purposive sampling technique which is to take samples based on certain considerations. Sampling technique was taken using a number of samples in this study 18 respondents as a group of experiments. Analysis of the data in this study was univariate and bivariate analysis using regional coxon test. The results of the study showed that after the significant test was used, the regional test of the comparison to the blood pressure reduction before and after the given water extraction received significant changes in the mean pre-test 111.44 and post-test 101.11. Standardization for pre-test 2,833 and post-test 5,132. Regional test results showed that there was an influence of p-value 0.003 (p <0.05). The results of this study are recommended as an alternative treatment for decreasing the blood pressure on the censorship by using cucumber juice.
