Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the description of the use of diabetic drugs in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in Pusunadua Health Center in 2019. This type of research is a quantitative study with descriptive research design (desciptive research). The sampling technique in this study was total sampling, with 87 respondents. The results of the study based on the frequency distribution of drug use showed that the majority of people with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus who consumed drugs were 86 respondents (98.9%), based on the type of drug consumed, all patients with Type 2 Diabetes Melitus consumed oral drugs with a percentage of 100%, namely 86 respondents. The results of this study are recommended for sufferers of diabetes mellitus to find out the use of appropriate antidiabetic drugs.
