Abstract. This article discusses the creation of a dress with asymmetrical sleeves and floral embellishments using Draping Technique on shimmer organza fabric. The focus is on the creative process of designers in crafting a captivating and unique dress. The strategic initial steps in designing the dress involve the selection of materials such as bridal satin, organza, and organza shimmer. Asymmetrical sleeves, bustier, and floral embellishments constitute essential elements in this design. Draping Technique is extensively applied in creating floral decorations on the dress, particularly using shimmer organza fabric. Through the Research and Development (R&D) method, this article outlines the steps undertaken, starting from identifying potential and issues, collecting data, designing the product, to the final product. The result is an attractive dress with unique characteristics, including the choice of shimmer organza fabric that provides a distinctive color effect on the flowers. Challenges in the process, such as the formation of flowers requiring several attempts, and difficulties in selecting material colors, are part of the creative journey in the fashion world. Despite differences between the initial design and the finished product due to material limitations, this dress successfully creates inspiration for fashion enthusiasts who are always seeking exclusive and innovative styles.
