Abstract: | A total of 71 brick building factories are still located in the settlement center of Bukittinggi city, West Sumatra, Indonesia (Department of Industry and Commerce, 2016). Rice husk (90.2%) and firewood (9.8%) are the most common fuel sources used for firing bricks. These organics biomass feedstocks can cause environmental and health risk as they contain carbon monoxide and formaldehyde. |
