Abstract Background: Adolescent girls are an age group that is susceptible to anemia because they experience menarche. Alternative efforts to treat anemia with dragon fruit and beetroot are two types of fruit to increase Hb levels, complete phytochemicals, and prebiotics, helping absorption and killing bad bacteria in the intestines. Beetroot is a good source of iron, contains betalain compounds, antioxidant content, and various vitamin C, which can stimulate iron absorption through the intestines. Giving a mix of beetroot and dragon fruit juice is effective in increasing Hb levels. Purpose: To determine the effectiveness of dragon fruit juice (hylocereus polyrhizus) and beetroot (beta vulgaris) with Fe tablets on increasing hemoglobin levels in adolescents. Method: Quantitative experimental design research using a randomized control trail approach, conducted in July 2024 at a Junior High School in South Tangerang. The independent variable in this study was the increase in Hb levels, while the dependent variable was the provision of dragon fruit and beetroot juice. The sampling technique used random sampling and the Slovin formula, the number of samples used was 90 participants, divided into three groups consisting of 30 participants each group. The intervention group model A was given a mix of dragon fruit and beetroot juice, the intervention group model B was given a mix of dragon fruit and beetroot juice and Fe tablets, the control group model C was only given Fe tablets. Results: Consumption of dragon fruit juice, beetroot, and Fe tablets can increase Hb levels. Intervention group model A, Hb levels increased from an average of 11.43 to 13.36, intervention group model B increased from an average of 11.08 to 13.84, and intervention group model C increased from an average of 10.94 to 12.78. Hypothesis testing showed a significance value of 0.005 (sig <0.05). Conclusion: There is a difference in the increase in Hb levels from the three intervention models. Model B, which is a combination of dragon fruit and beetroot juice accompanied by consumption of Fe tablets, has the highest increase in Hb levels among the other two models.
