Abstract: Abstract Background: Data from the Muara Enim District Health Service in 2021, the prevalence rate of anemia in pregnant women reached 15.4%. Based on data from the Tanjung Enim Community Health Center Nutrition Program in 2023, the prevalence of anemia in pregnant women is 42.9%. One of the factors that influences the occurrence of anemia is the low knowledge of pregnant women. Health education through health education or health education can increase pregnant women's knowledge about anemia. Appropriate and effective media influences the success of learning. Purpose: To determine the effect of leaflet media on pregnant women's knowledge about anemia. Method: This research is a quasi experiment using a one group pre-post-test design. This research was carried out in May 2024. The population of this research study was pregnant women who attended classes for pregnant women in the Tanjung Enim Community Health Center working area. The sample consisted of 35 pregnant women. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon Test. Results: The majority of pregnant women before being given counseling using leaflet media had a poor level of knowledge, namely 27 (77.1%), whereas after being given counseling using leaflet media, the majority of mothers' knowledge increased to good, namely 15 (77.1%). The results of the study showed that there was an effect of providing education using leaflets about anemia (p value=0.000). Conclusion: There is an influence of counseling using leaflet media on the level of knowledge of pregnant women about anemia. Suggestion: It is hoped that by providing outreach with leaflets, pregnant women will understand the impact of anemia and can prevent anemia as early as possible. Future researchers can increase the number of respondents to a large scale and use other methods such as using a control group and adding other variables that can influence increasing knowledge using leaflet media.
