Abstract: Abstract Background: An unhealthy lifestyle such as consuming foods that are high in sodium, fat and low in fiber in excessive portions and continuously can increase the blood volume in the body. This will cause an increase in the heart's workload in pumping blood. Physical activity also has an influence on blood pressure, individuals who are inactive tend to have a higher heart rate and force the heart muscle to work twice as hard. Purpose: To determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and the lifestyle of hypertensive patients. Method: Quantitative research uses a correlative descriptive approach with a cross-sectional design. The population used was hypertension sufferers who were registered as patients seeking treatment at the Pajang Community Health Center in January-July 2023, totaling 200 respondents using an accidental sampling technique. Univariate and bivariate data analysis Pearson correlation test. Results: The Spearman Rho Rank correlation test shows that the correlation coefficient between the knowledge level and lifestyle variables is rho = 0.050 with a p value = 0.478, so it is found that the p value is> 0.05, meaning there is no relationship between the two variables. Conclusion: There is no significant relationship between the level of knowledge and the lifestyle of hypertensive patients. Keywords: Hypertension; Knowledge; Lifestyle.
