Abstract: Abstract Background: Hypertension in pregnancy if left unchecked can harm the pregnant mother and her fetus. Efforts to screen for hypertension in pregnant women through maternal and child health (KIA) books. Several factors related to hypertension are eating habits, smoking habits, stress, obesity and family history of the disease. Purpose: To determine the study of hypertension risk screening in pregnancy using the KIA book at 20 weeks. Method: Quantitative analytical research with cross sectional design. The sample in this study was pregnant women aged ≥ 20 weeks who underwent examinations at Posyandu Batujaya, Karawang Regency starting in December 2023, totaling 115 respondents, sampling using accidental sampling technique. The research instrument used a questionnaire and the data used were primary data and secondary data, analyzed using the quadratic test. Results: It is known that there is a relationship between eating habits (p value = 0.037), smoking habits (p value = 0.000), stress (p value = 0.004), obesity (p value = 0.041) and family history of disease (p value = 0.000) with the incidence of hypertension in pregnancy at 20 weeks gestation. Conclusion: Eating habits, smoking habits, stress, obesity, and family history of disease are associated with the incidence of hypertension in pregnancy at 20 weeks' gestation.
