Abstract Background: Adolescents with insufficient knowledge about reproductive health will easily lead them to fall into wrong attitudes about sex, which will have an impact on promiscuous sexual behavior. Preliminary research shows that the school has carried out outreach and outreach activities regarding sex education to students during the school orientation (MOS) period when they first enter school, but the school does not know how students behave outside of school. Purpose: To determine the relationship between the level of knowledge about reproductive health and adolescents' attitudes towards free sex. Method: Correlation type quantitative research, carried out in November 2023 at SMA Negeri 2 Sukoharjo. The population of this study was 323 class XI students. The sample was taken using proportional random sampling technique and a sample size of 76 respondents was obtained. The questionnaire has been tested for validity and reliability with Cronbach's Alpha values of 0.807 and 0.700. The statistical test uses the Chi Square test with a significance value of α<0.05 which indicates that the alternative hypothesis is accepted. Results: Statistical tests using the Chi-Square test showed that the level of knowledge and attitudes of adolescents had a significant relationship (p= 0.000; r= 16.340). Obtaining this value can be interpreted to mean that there is a significant relationship between the level of knowledge about reproductive health and teenagers' attitudes towards free sex, so the higher the knowledge, the better the teenagers' attitude towards free sex. Conclusion: There is a positive relationship between the level of knowledge about reproductive health and adolescents' attitudes towards free sex. It is hoped that students can increase their enthusiasm for learning to increase their knowledge and understanding of reproductive health in order to avoid promiscuous sexual behavior.
