Abstract: Education using videos and medication reminder cards is an intervention that can be done to increase medication adherence to successful therapy. This study aims to evaluate education using videos and medication reminder cards on adherence to the use of antihypertensives in outpatients at the Tangerang Selatan Health Center, Banten. The study used a Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) design involving 160 respondents, consisting of a control group (80 respondents) and an intervention group (80 respondents). Measuring the value of medication adherence and blood pressure was carried out before and after the intervention. Prior to the intervention there were significant differences between groups regarding the demographic characteristics of the respondents, clinical characteristics, and lifestyle. Pharmacist intervention through educational videos and medication reminder cards had a significant effect on increasing medication adherence (p: 0.000) with high adherence categories of 7.5%, moderate adherence of 77.5% and low adherence of 15%. This intervention also significantly reduced systolic and diastolic blood pressure (p:0.000, TDS/TDD=-15.44 mmHg/-5.12 mmHg). Hypertensive patients experienced 3.75% of adverse drug reactions of drugs with mild levels (Mild). Manifestations of adverse drug reactions are abdominal pain, fatigue and headache.

Abstract: COVID-19 (Corona Virus Disease-2019) is an infectious disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus which is highly contagious and affects the respiratory system. Covid-19 vaccination is one of the preventive measures to reduce transmission, where the vaccine type given to the public is determined by the government. This study aimed to analyze the effect of the type of COVID-19 vaccine and sociodemographic variables on health-related quality of life (HRQoL) in Padang and Pariaman, Indonesia. The research was conducted by distributing the WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire consisting of four domains and 26 questions online from July to September 2022. Vaccine types and sociodemographic data including gender, age, marital status, occupation, city of residence, educational background, and co-morbidities were also collected from the respondents. Respondents' answers were analyzed using the analysis of covariance method in SPSS 26. Of the 418 respondents who filled out the questionnaire completely, 242 (57.89%) and 81 (19.38%) respondents had good and very good HRQoL, respectively. There was no significant effect (p>0.05) of vaccine types on the four HRQoL domains. The HRQoL score was influenced by marital status, employment, and recent education (p<0.05). There is a significant effect (p<0.05) of marital status on all four HRQoL domains. The city of residence significantly affected the psychological, social, and environmental domains (p<0.05), while the occupation significantly affected (p<0.05) the psychological and environmental domains

Abstract: Suppositories are drug with a spesial way of use, with required the patients to have knowledge of how to use suppositories correctly. This research aim to study the difference in the level of knowledge in usage of suppositories before and after being given education. An analytical research, by purposive sampling. The study was conducted on 73 respondents with 30 respondents to test the validity of the questionnaire and 43 other respondents to collect research data. The validity test of the questionnaire was carried out at the Kimia Farma Pharmacy at Dr. M. Djamil Public Hospital Padang and data collection was carried out at the Outpatient Pharmacy Depot of Dr. M. Djamil Public hospital Padang. Research respondents were outpatients who bought suppository prescriptions from the two places above. Data collection techniques through pre-test/post-test design using questionnaires that have been tested for validity and reliability and education through leaflet media (p=0.000). The analysis was carried out using Wilcoxon's test. The results obtained during the pre-test showed that the dominant respondent's level of knowledge was in the sufficient category 60.47% and the post-test dominant in the good category 90.70%. The results showed that there was a significant difference in the level of knowledge of respondents between before and after giving education through leaflet media (p= 0.000). It can be concluded that there are differences in the level of knowledge patients who use suppositories before and after being given education.

Abstract: Lead (Pb) is the most common heavy metal contaminant in plants. It occurs as organic and inorganic salts in plants. Lead is harmful when its amounts in food are higher than the optimum. Rice plants with high levels of lead may trigger the generation of reactive oxygen species and eventually cell death. Our study aimed to assess lead levels in rice plant leaves planted in Sukawening Village, Jatinangor District, West Bandung Regency, West Java. The rice plant leaves were collected each month until four months. The samples were dried and wet-destructed using concentrated sulfuric acid and nitric acid. The qualitative analysis of lead in the samples was carried out using visible spectrophotometry with the addition of xylenol orange. The lead level was measured using a standard addition photometric titration method. Our results indicated that lead was present in the samples since the plant was 1 month old, as proven by the lead-xylenol orange peak at 580 nm. Lead content in the rice plant leaves was as follows, in the 1st-month plants = 0.4118 mg/kg, 2nd-month = 0.5232 mg/kg, 3rd-month = 0.6206 mg/kg, and 4thmonth = 0.5264 mg/kg. We concluded that the lead level in the rice plants is in the range of that required by the Verdict of the Director General of the National Agency of Drug and Food Control No. 03725/B/SK/89 about the Maximum Limit of Heavy Metal Contamination in Food, which is 2.0 mg/kg calculated as the dried samples
