Authors: Béres, Dániel; Mészáros, Aranka; Hanák, Zsuzsanna; Németh, Erzsébet
Abstract: The paper examines the role of pocket money in relation to both financial socialisation and financial literacy.
The results based on academic and grey literature and on primary research shows that pocket money has a
significant impact on the development of financial awareness. The main conclusion of our research is that
financial socialisation can be understood along an eight-stage, pocket money-centred development model in
which theoretical knowledge is complemented by practice according to the receptive capacity of children and
young adults. The development model can also serve as a starting point for programmes to improve financial
literacy and increase their effectiveness. However, for the completion of financial socialisation and financial
inclusion, it is also necessary that the fees and costs applied in the financial system should not distort the
socialisation process outlined in the developmental model - all financial services should be available free of
charge to individuals up to the age of 24, without excessive risk-taking. This can be interpreted as an
investment by financial system actors in financially aware customers.

Authors: Yee, Lim Keh; Mohd-Sabrun, Ibrahim; Tarmiz, Nur Farrahanie Ahmad; Sulaiman, Noor Adwa
Abstract: Politically connected firms are prevalent worldwide, spurring political connection research. This systematic
literature review (SLR) examines the current development in political connection research, specifically
examining the impact of politically connected directors and CEOs (PCDCs) and corporate financial
performance (CFP). This study conducts a bibliometric analysis of 247 articles from Scopus, spanning the
years 2006 to 2023. Additionally, 52 high-quality articles are selected for further evaluation using content
analysis under the Theory, Context, Characteristics, and Methodology (TCCM) framework. The findings
reveal that Asian studies have predominated the body of literature. Through thematic analysis by the
keywords, the conceptual structure of PCDC-CFP research is grouped into five distinct clusters. The literature
review highlights that PCDCs may be a double-edged sword for CFP, with contradictory findings. This study
delves into the geographical focus, theoretical perspectives and methodological arguments of previous
research, thereby identifying potential room for future research to enrich the literature. The complex effects
of PCDCs on CFP makes call for better policy and business decisions.

Authors: Iskandar, Yusuf; Pratama, Alzetrho Baja; Ardhiyansyah, Andri; Kurniawan, Kurniawan
Abstract: This quantitative study examines the complex relationship between value co-creation, market competition,
technology adoption, sustainability practices, and social entrepreneurship initiatives in Indonesian ventures.
Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) on 325 initiatives yields remarkable findings.
The results suggest that market competition drives value co-creation and social entrepreneurship initiatives.
Social entrepreneurship initiative ventures face severe social and environmental issues when the market
competition heats up, and they become better at cooperative value co-creation. Technology adoption is
boosting value creation and social entrepreneurship effectiveness. This study emphasizes technology's role in
efficiency and innovation. Sustainable practices are essential to value co-creation and social enterprise.
Sustainability enhances the possibility that an activity will create value and have long-term environmental
and social impacts. Social entrepreneurship initiatives benefited from value-creation collaboration. Valuecreating projects address social and environmental challenges more proactively and effectively, demonstrating
teamwork to promote good change. Investors, lawmakers, and social entrepreneurs who aim to strengthen
Indonesia's social entrepreneurship initiative landscape by generating long-term profit and social impact might
use the results.

Title: SHELF SPACE ALLOCATION PROBLEM (SSAP) IN THE RETAIL INDUSTRY: A SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW
Authors: Isa, Faizatulhaida Md; Ariffin, Wan Nor Munirah; Jusoh, Muhammad Shahar
Abstract: This article presents a comprehensive analysis of the Shelf Space Allocation Problem (SSAP) in the context
of the evolving retail industry. The significance of this problem lies in its impact on consumer behavior,
sales revenue, and overall shop profitability, with a particular focus on enhancing store performance through
the optimization of shelf item placement. This review systematically integrates prior research by conducting
a rigorous analysis of different approaches to SSAP, including mathematical models, heuristic strategies,
and data-driven procedures. This study aims to synthesize key findings, identify knowledge gaps, and
propose avenues for future research by compiling and evaluating several methodologies. This evaluation
aims to acquire a thorough understanding of the various attributes of SSAP and their implications for retail
operations. The primary data analysis examined a thorough selection of articles obtained through advanced
search techniques on the Scopus and Mendeley databases. A total of 25 articles were included in the
analysis. This article aims to provide a valuable resource for improving decision-making processes in the
allocation of retail shelf space. It achieves this by compiling information on the main factors, challenges,
and optimization techniques related to SSAP. The article's results offer valuable insights for supply chain
management professionals and retailers. The proposition suggests that power dynamics within the supply
chain influence the allocation of display space costs between suppliers and retailers. This article
successfully identified optimal solutions across ten distinct scenarios and achieved an average profit ratio of
over 99% by implementing various effective methodologies to address intricate optimization issues.
Ultimately, this article contributes to enhancing retail performance, customer satisfaction, and strategic
planning in the dynamic retail industry. This research highlights the significance of implementing adaptive
and context-aware tactics to accommodate changing consumer preferences and market dynamics.
Accordingly, it can enhance the effectiveness of shelf space allocation strategies and promote a competitive
edge within the retail industry.
